According to the United Nations, access to safe drinking water is recognized as a human right. Even though there's a big lack of implementation in this case for humans, such a right doesn't exist for animals.

Our guest of this episode is Lakshman Molleti, founder of the Animals Water Bowl Project India. With this project, Lakshman wants to improve animal welfare, which has in the end a positive impact on environmental and also human welfare as well.
Lakshman's vision: "Every stray animal should get safe drinking water around the clock around the year. Connect humans with animals!"

With his organization, Lakshman distributed more than 3.600 water bowls, organized over 80 events and is operating in 7 locations in 3 states. For this noble project he won the "Shining World Compassion Award" 2020.
