The topic of human rights is a very big and important one. Some weeks ago, Maggy interviewed Heide Trommer about her support for Peace Watch Switzerland in Honduras. That episode took place in german. Today Maggy interviews another human rights observer for Peace Watch Switzerland/EAPPI: Sophie Kohli. This time the episode is happening in english. 
Sophie served as a human rights observer in Palestine and Israel for three months in 2022. 

Located in East Jerusalem, she, along with other observers, witnessed and monitored human rights violations and connected with the local communities and peace activists. Back home, she is advocating for an end to the military occupation of Palestine and sharing her first-hand experiences to raise awareness in the Swiss public.

Sophie's message is: "We shouldn't tolerate violations of human rights anywhere. What impacts one other, can impact us."
