There are some pretty amazing young activists in this world and Maggy's guest for today's podcast episode is one of them: Julius Kirumira, founder of "Vegan Planet Africa". 

Julius is 20 years old and works on promoting a plant based diet in Uganda. His big dream is to see Uganda in the top African countries promoting a healthy plant based diet to support animal rights and also to protect our beautiful world. 

In this interview, Julius shares his story how he became an activist and how the death of his best friend "Max", his dog, deeply touched him when Max was poisoned. That was the start for Julius to stand up for justice for Max and soon to understand, that all animals need to be protected. As the best way to protect an animal is to simply not put it in your mouth, Julius founded the official organization "Vegan Planet Africa" to create amazing projects. One of these projects is to give presentations and cooking presentations in schools.
