Description & Show Notes
"Different species - one caring community"
This is one of the slogans at the Vrouva Farm, Aegina, Greece.
In the newest episode of the SANUSPLANET Podcast, Maggy interviews the founder of the animal sanctuary Vrouva Farm - Alexia Papagianni.
The Vrouva Farm is a save heaven for abandoned and abused animals. It is a home to pet and domestic animals as well as a few volunteers, that survives thanks to an international community of committed animal lovers. Today there are over 100 animals living on the farm, some of them who have been abandoned, abused or simply could not been looked after by their owners due to the lack of financial possibilities. For the few animals, that are adoptable, the volunteers try to find new families, the others live their now happy lives on the farm.
The guiding principles at the farm are the same principles, Maggy lives on: ecology, non-violence, veganism and the lessons the animals teach us every day.
Raising awareness of speciesism, animal rights and our food choices are some of the important topics, Alexia talks about in the new episode.
Listen to this incredible talk and get inspired by years of experience in saving and protecting animals.
